TERMS & CONDITIONS

Below is an outline of some key Policies for your reference.

 

 
 

PRICING POLICY

All of our prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST (goods and services tax). Product prices are regularly updated when price changes are received from our suppliers.

 
 

DELIVERY POLICY

  • Quick delivery: We aim to despatch and deliver your order to you as quickly as possible. We work to a 48 hour lead time to dispatch orders received during business hours.
  • Signature Required: The majority of deliveries to retailers will require a signature to confirm that all goods have been received and are in good condition. Please ensure that you check deliveries carefully as we will not be liable for any claims against damaged or missing goods signed for.
  • Freight Policy: For all orders, excluding furniture, the following chages apply - Retailer orders: Any orders over $500 will be shipped Free into Store (FIS). All orders under $500 will incur a flat rate freight charge of $35 (excl GST). If we have a Drop Ship arrangement in place we will advise a freight matrix outlining freight charges to ship goods to your consumer. (Please note that Drop Ship arrangements are subject to approval from Management)
  • Furniture Freight Policy:  All orders for furniture will incure a freight charge which will be calcualted once we have received a confirmed order through the system. If we have a Drop Ship arrangement in place we will advise a freight matrix outlining freight charges to ship goods to your consumer. (Please note that Drop Ship arrangements are subject to approval from Management). Note: The system will apply the standard frieght charges mentioned in the point above. We will then make the necessary freight adjustments/refunds on invoicing the goods.
  • Back Orders: Unless otherwise instructed, any items on an order that are out of stock will be placed on back order and dispatched FIS to you when the stock arrives. It is the responsibility of the retailer to cancel any items that remain on Back Order. Any new items added to a back order will incur a freight charge unless the total order meets the above FIS criteria
 
 

PAYMENT POLICY

All B2B customers are required to have a trading account with Childsmart. This account will either be on Terms or Prepaid.

  • Prepaid Customers: All Prepaid customers will be required to place their orders via the B2B Portal and make payment for their order via the Online Payment Gateway which appears at the time of submitting your order. If for any reason we are not able to ship your order in full you may either request a refund for the unshipped portion of the order or keep the amount on credit for when the unshipped backorder arrives and is shipped.
  • Credit Terms Customers:If you have agreed credit terms with Childsmart we will ship your order to you on receipt of your order via the portal. This is conditional on (1) there being no overdue invoices on your account as well as (2) your account being within the pre-set credit limit. If either or both of these conditions are not met, we will place your account on hold until they are met. Any account that is consistently overdue will be reviewed from time to time at which stage we reserve the right to place your account onto Prepaid Terms.
 
 

RETURNS POLICY

At Childsmart we strive to constantly provide a superior level of service to our customers. We understand the importance of providing you the peace of mind that the products you sell are backed by great customer service.  

That is why all the products we range are backed by a minimum 12-month guarantee for manufacturer defect. 

If you have an issue with an order that you receive or there is a warranty issue with an item that we sold you, please log all customer service queries via our Customer Service Portal here. On receipt of your query our experienced customer service team will be in touch to assist you. We endeavour to respond to all customer service queries within 24 hours. 

The above in no way impacts your statutory rights.

Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. 

For all warranty issues we reserve our right to inspect the goods and either repair, replace or refund the goods. 

 
 

 

PRIVACY POLICY

  • Secure Details: Internet Ordering and Security is of utmost concern to us.  We endeavour to ensure your credit card details and personal information are safe. We will never sell, trade or give your personal information that you supply to us to anyone - at all!!
  • Credit Card Transactions:   We work with leading online payment gateways to ensure that your payment details are guarded by technology that is secure and provides a PCI DSS compliant payment solution so you can make payments with confidence
  • Multiple Payment Methods: Through our payment gateway we are able to process credit cards as well as accept Account2Account transfers. For more information click here
  • Secure Account: We use every means available to protect your sensitive information - that's why when you initially order from us, you will need to register as a customer by completing an account application and opening an account with us.
